I did this.

Inspired by our discovery of Ella Higginson, Womxn Among Us aims to recognize and honor women in our community (a frequent oversight in our history books).
The ephemeral impact women have had on history really pisses us off. Culture at large seems to do well preserving the stories of men, but egregiously fails when it comes to those who do not perpetuate the patriarchy.
So we're starting with the women right here in our community. Every March--women's history month--let's talk about the Womxn Among Us.
Just Like the Men
We are currently in the throes of post-production on our "Ella" project. We’ve adapted and shot Ella's original screenplay—with the most spectacular, witty, committed cast and crew in the history of talkies, we swear. Now, editing is well underway!
Stay tuned for more updates in 2019!
Crow Talk: Film Squawk is an exciting journey into the world of podcasting. Every month, the Crows choose a current film that features a strong female element--acting, writing, directing--and gives three reasons to see it and three reasons you might want to pass. Not to mention a whole lot o' opinion. Check it out for some serious squawking about our favorite thing!
Free the Penis
Some years ago, we started a conversation about the severe lack of din-a-ling in film. Seriously, what's that about? It really bothered us. So we started talking about it with other people, and it started to bother them. We kept talking, and talking, until finally, we knew we had to turn the camera on. And lo! Free The Penis was born!
This short really just grazes the tip (ha) of the issue at hand (ha ha). It deserves to be a larger conversation, including as many diverse view points as we can capture. Thus, adapting Free The Penis into a feature is our next big docu-project, because it's a problem and people want to talk about it. So let's.
Have something to say? We want to talk to you!
The official unofficial behind-the-scenes peak at Talking To Crows from me, the intern. Follow this blog as I divulge thoughts, opinions, and photos of my crazy experience with this mad bunch of filmmakers.
What to expect: sneak peeks, tidbits, totally relevant memes, and probably selfies (maybe; totally). Basically, I hacked into this website and can do whatever I want.
